Film: Umefolk - Nedslag i en festival

In this documentary by the award-winning filmmaker Göran Setterberg, we get to experience many of the artists and groups from the 2011 festival. The music is mixed with interviews of artists, music students, members of the audience and the festival's organisers and volunteers. The documentary reflects the extensive support by musicians and audiences of all ages with both world music and more local folk music. This 45-minute documentary is guaranteed to capture your imagination with its limitless celebration of music and dance.

The documentary has been produced by Panfilm in cooperation with the Umeå Folk Music Association, with support from the educational association Bilda Nord, Umeå Folkets Hus and Umeå municipality.
