Sonika

Sonika is a folk vocal group from Örnsköldsvik. They have their own arrangements and sing everything from choral songs to groovy dance ballads. Coming from different musical backgrounds, the members have joined forces to explore folk traditions while not allowing themselves to be limited. They allow themselves to be inspired by other genres, such as rock and jazz. Using their beatbox, they create their own sound. Their first album was released in the autumn 2012.
